Please Help?? Recordset is not updateable!!

Good Afternoon
After splitting my database I know get the message 'this recordset is not
updatable' and basically I can't change anything in my Database!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahhhhhhh
How do I change this?

1: is the back end file, or the folder it is stored in, read-only?

2: what is the query?
