Please help with Macro

Hi,

I'm running Office 2004 v11.2 on a new iMac with 2GB ram.

I've just been given an Excel file with a workgroup tab called "Control
Panel" - and when I click on this workgroup tab it invokes a Control
Panel macro. On my machine - the size of the control panel is
mis-shapen and illegible - and cannot be re-sized by dragging (only
closed or minimised).

No other users have had the same problem with this file. It even works
for those users with older version of Excel for Mac.

I ran the Office Remove utility, deleted all plists and prefs etc. then
re-added Office - made no difference. Strangely, if I loging to the
same Mac as a different user - the Macro opens perfectly?

I know a bit about Macs but not much about Excel/Macros.

Please help!!

If the macro's running perfectly in a different account, then it's not a
problem with the macro.

Do you have any add-ins loaded? Are any other workbooks open when this
happens?

You might have a font problem. With all Office apps closed, try turning
off all the fonts in your ~:Library:Fonts folder using Font Book.

BTW - My filters initially flagged your post for deletion, based on the
alias you used. In general, the gestalt in these groups is to use real
(or at least real-looking) names, and there's really no need to be
crude, especially when you use a normal-looking email address. You
obviously are free to do what you want, especially since you use the
alias in other groups, but I'll choose to leave future posts in the
delete bin.

Thanks for your reply. I tried disabling the fonts as you suggested
and checking for any add-ins, but unfortunately nothing changed - the
Macro still appears mis-shapen and illegible.

FYI: The excel document has 3 workbooks. The Macro is automatically
invoked when you click on the second workbook.

Any other suggesions?

PS - thanks for the tip about my alias. No offence was ever intended -
I'll take your comments on board.
