Please help with task start date problem

I want to setup a view on the "task list" to have tasks appear if they
are on and after the "start date", as well as tasks with no start
date. I can make this work on the taskpad in the calender view,
(using active tasks for selected days) but not on the tasks view. Any
ideas how to make this work?

I assume you have 2002 or 2003??

It will not show that type of View for the Tasks Folder, only the TaskPad in
the Calendar

Judy,

Thanks for the quick reply. Any other way to setup a task / pending
to pop up in the future? Maybe I should just rely on the tasklist in
the calender view. (BTW, I am on 2002. does this work different in
2007?)

TaskPad is the most configurable for task views - as you can use Active
Tasks for selected days - what you see then is a "page" of appointments and
today's tasks. 2007 doesn't quite do that but you can come close.

Judy,

What if I filter using 1) start date on or before today, and 2) Start
date does not exist

Then a task will pop up after the start date, and stay on the list?

I don't have 2002, my memory's good but not that good - I don't remember
what filters can be set. Try it out. See what works for you.Sorry can't be
