PLEASE HELP

I am going a time sheet for my staff members and instead if writing 3 hrs
and 30 mins I want a formula to calculate the minutes for me ie - 210minutes
Does anyone out there have any idea what I need to do?

Try this:
Let say you have 3:30 in A1, on another cell type =HOUR(A1)*60+MINUTE(A1)
Than should do it,
