Is there a way to run a macro in powerpoint to gather data(like song lyrics)
in an access database and then to copy and paste those lyrics into
powerpoint? Someone please help me. This is very important for me. Thank you!!

You could do it with VBA if you know how to program in that language. Are
you familiar with VBA? You might also be able to do it with scripting but I
am not sure about that. Maybe someone else (Ollie?) will confirm or deny
that.

Hey Mike,

Yes I knwo a little VBA. So should i write a macro in powerpoint which would
call up data in access? Is this possible? If so, any suggestions on how?

Go to google groups and google for powerpoint vba and database. You'll see
lots of hits.

Here is some Excel VBA code I saw in one post and I think some of the mvps
have some examples on their sites:
