record... e.g. specific member... the problem is thatwhen using th
find option in the Maimerge toolbar and searching for what I wish (i
the correct field) it gives me nothing... despite the fatc that I kno

Hi Ansette,

I'm unable to reproduce the problem here, with an English version of
Office XP. For security reasons I can't open uploaded files, so can you
give me a bit more information, please

1. What's the data source? (Excel spreadsheet, Word table, text file,
Access database... If you don't know, explain how you created it.)

2. Did you choose an explicit connection method to link it to Word, or
just use the default?

3. Can you list a couple of the field names you tested? And a few of the
values that aren't being found?

4. Just to be sure: there is no VBA code involved?

5. Have you tried asking this question in a word group specific to the
language of Word you're using (assuming it's not English)? There's an off
chance the problem could be language-version specific.
