Hi... I'm new to MS Access and need some advice.
We are a small business and currently have a database of all our clients.
We mostly do correspondence using Word, of which I have merged with the
database. We tend to use approximately 100 standard letters that need
tweeking in order to apply to the individual client. So for instance, I'll
pull up the client from the database and the letter I am using will
automatically update itself with the information pertaining to that client.
Here is where I am having a problem. We want to network our company so that
everyone has access to the database in order to be able to update the
information on their letters the same way that I am. However, I am
encountering a problem that only allows me to update one letter at a time if
I am using the database in connection with them. So I don't think that this
system will work for us. Or is there something I don't know about that we
can do?
I welcome any suggestions, please keep in mind I'm not that familiar with
computer terminology/technology.
Thanks,
Sasha
