Please help

Each time I open a workbook, I get the save dialog box, with the message
"file not found"

This started when I cut some rows from this workbook and pasted it into
another workbook.

I can not find the links to deactivate the connection and don't know how to
stop the workbook from trying to sync with the other workbook.

Any help will be appreciated.

It kind of sounds like you ended up with links in your workbook and then the
workbook that used to send it data was moved or deleted.

You could use Edit|find and search for ".xls", but I'd just use Bill Manville's
findlink.zip from:
http://www.BMSLtd.co.uk/MVP/Default.htm

Thank you for the help.

I searched for the ( [ ) sign, since all references to other workbooks have
it. And found the phantom link and deleted it.
