Please help...

Some twit that use to work here made a district map for our company in excel using objects for the districts...there's dozens and dozens on them on this thing. He made it so large that it can't be linked properly in PowerPoint (or anything else for that matter) and be able to show the whole thing. It only displays a small portion of it.

We would just grab the image and copy and paste it in but when this is done printing it on a color laser printer shows the image quality loss that occurred in the copy and paste.

Is there any way to reduce the size of the map, all objects equally, to fix this?

thanks

Maybe you can group all the objects and treat it as one.

Show the Drawing toolbar
View|toolbars|and check Drawing

Then use the arrow icon to lasso your objects.

Right click on the whole mess and choose Grouping|group

Now try to resize it.

If you screw up, close without saving.

This works! Thanks!!! But...I forgot to mention there's text (naming the
districts) in this too...They don't shrink with it...

....?

I don't have an easy solution for this.

Maybe someone else will???

I can't wait to find a job in a NOC so I don't have to deal with end-user
problems anymore :-(
