please help

I have a CD containing a 1997 Access Database. The CD
contains a few files:

1) smalldb.mde
2) smalldb.mdb
3) system.mdw
4) data.mdb

Every time I try to open these files I get permission
error messages. How do I link these files together.
Additionally I only have Access 2000 and the database is
built on 1997.

Please try to be as specific as possible with you
instructions.

Hi Mike,

I answered this question in another newsgroup (sorry I don't remember which
one) where you asked it.

FYI, it is better to post a single message to one group, rather than
repeating the message in multiple groups. If you do want to reach more than
one group (but only a few), you can address the post to multiple groups by
separating their names in the To box with a semi-colon.
