The newsgroup microsoft.public.access.queries is directed toward answering
questions for the database application product named Access. One of the
features of this product is Queries. That's the specific area for which
posts are solicited.
Whenever possible and appropriate, when posting, technical details of your
situation are encouraged. These are specifically:
- The SQL code of your existing relevant queries. You can copy this from
the SQL View of the query. For stored queries, this is one of the options
in the list whose default position is toward the upper left corner of the
screen, under the word File. Click on the down arrow just to the right of
the rectangular "datasheet" icon to see this list.
- sample data
- sample of existing results
- sample of expected results
- specific error messages
Following these guidelines will often save time for those who are answering
your questions, and get you more responses, better responses, faster
responses, a faster resolution, and save you having someone ask for these
details later.

P.S. Please direct suggestions on this message to the newsgroup or to me
personally. Should this, or an improved version of it, be posted frequently
to the newsgroup, so new posters can read? Perhaps daily?
