OUTLOOK EXPRESS with XP

What did I do and how do i get all the emails back in my inbox? They are
nowhere to be found. I have searched in the find messages and nothing. All
the other folders still contain all the emails, but the inbox went completely
empty. As I viewied an email yesterday the computer locked up so i shut it
down. When I turned the computer back on all 5023 emails in my inbox were
gone , lost in computer space if you will. Can anyone help me to find and
extract these emails? I think it has something to do with the .pst or .dbx.

PST has nothing to do with Outlook Express. It has to do with Outlook which
is a different product. This group supports Outlook and not outlook Express.
