please respond: someone, anyone....font size problem

Corinne

i wrote in a couple of weeks or more back to ask for help --i'm new to
newsgroups-- and i can't find a single answer to my query.

the machine i'm on is a Toshiba Satellite with <ugh> Vista, of course.
maybe six weeks ago now Windows Mail stopped allowing me to change the font
size of any font from size 12. my geek cousin couldn't fix the problem and
left suggesting i write with my preferred message in Word and then import it
into Mail. not exactly a solution. then i paid for two hours of a go-go
geek. he too was confounded.

it doesn't matter if i'm typing in rich or plain text, i'm a size 12. as an
artist who does a fair bit with interesting fonts this is incredibly
depressing.

can ANYONE suggest where i go from here ---please and thanx-ever-so-much?

cheers,
Corinne

First, the microsoft website can be a bit misleading/confusing if you are
new to it, but this newsgroup is dedicated to Microsoft Access, a
relational database. You may need to post your question in a newsgroup
for Vista or Windows Mail.

Having said that, your previous post (from 11/8) was actually responded to by
Daniel Pineault, who said more or less the same thing I just did, but at
the same time he was nice enough to do a google search on your
behalf, and he posted some links he thought be of help. I have reposted
them below;

dear Beetle,
i happen to be a Jetta but the decision was hard <VBG>.
thanks ever so much to both you and Daniel Pineault! my computer is still on
'half-time' and i have *yet* to find Daniel Pineault's post so i'm doubly
glad that you included the web sites he included. i've been ill and away
from the computer --which was a good thing given how it haunts me-- but i
didn't mean to have to go so far as a local hospital for a break ;-P
again, many thanks for your suggestions and guidelines. i appreciate being
lead down the *right* garden path without being smashed like --well-- a
beetle.
<snicker>

cheers,
Corinne
