Julie

I am running Office v.X on an iBook running OSX 10.2.8.

When I am using Word the "File" menu does not appear in
the Finder bar. This means I am unable to easily access
commands such as "Save As", "Page Set-Up", "Print...", etc.

Is it possible to make the "File" menu appear in the
Finder menu? Please help me out, I need Word to work!!!

all the best,
Julie

I know it's probably a daft question, but do you mean the Menu bar? If you
can see the word Finder in the upper left of your screen you are not actually
in Word. Click on the document and the title should change to Word. The there
are no problems.

If I'm wrong, sorry. I'm not trying to insult anyone!

This means I am unable to easily access commands such as "Save As", "Page Set-Up", "Print...", etc.

Hit the apple key! Hold it down with "o" for open, "n" for new and "p" for
print. There are loads of other shortcuts via the keyboard to look for, and
it makes it easy when typing - you can keep your hands on the keyboard and
let your mouse go to sleep!

In general it's better to post in only one group - posting the same
message to multiple groups tends to fragment any answers you get.

If you're not sure which group to use, m.p.m.office is probably the
best, or you could cross-post by including both groups in the To:
header of your message - that way replies go to both groups as well.
