Plotting a Graph as S-Curve

Hello All

I am new to charting and graphs in excel - not very good
at excel fullstop. However I need to create something
called a S-curve graph. I have looked in the help but
can't find anything that meets my requirements.

Basically need to monitor man power in a project plan.
The curve needs to increase at the beginning, then level
out as a straight line for a while and then start to dip,
based on the data entered.

The information is in 3 different columns.

Is this possible. I would have attached the file but
there is no option on this web site for attachments.

Please help, desperate.

Thanking you in advance.

Hi,

To plot an s-curve you need to use the xy-scatter chart type.
The shape of the curve is determined by you data.
I assume you will have a column of dates for the x axis and another
column for man-power to be plotted on the y axis.

You don't say what the 3 columns of data you have are.

Cheers
Andy
