You appear to be confused.

Firefox is a web browser. Web based email is extremely dependent on the
features that the web mail provider choses to include in their services.
Different services provide different mail formating feature sets. Where
such features are offered the user procedures to implement them could be
quite different. Your inquiry can't be answered without knowing which
web based email provider you are using and the person resonding being
familiar with that web based email service.

The only Microsoft Office application that uses templates in connection
with email is Outlook. If you have Outlook and wish to use it for Email,
please indicate which version of Outlook you are using (look for an
"About" option on the "Help" menu). If you need information about
setting Outlook to use your ISP's mail server you will need to check
your ISP's support site for log in directions (sometimes Outlook and
Thunderbird can use the same settings offered for Outlook Express users).

For a Mozilla mail client see Thunderbird:

I've never tried establishing a mail template in Thunderbird (many
people prefer plain text emails). It looks like establishing a template
would involve creating your formated material as a new message and
saving it as a template from the file menu. For online Thunderbird help
and a link to forums see: http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/
