Pls help with repairing Split DB

I have a split DB where I got a "Delete Record" message. Only option on
error message box is "OK" or "Help". If I click on "OK" message box goes
away but will come back when I click somewhere else. If I run the Help it
says to click on next record. If I run the "Compact and Repair" Wizard, do I
run this on the front end database? or back end? Can I merge the front end
and back end databases? Can I then export everything to a new DB? Thank you.

You have entered the World of split databases!! Welcome....
Having just learnt myself Split databases aren't that easy to work with.
You run Compact and Repair on the frontend of the db. If you want to merge
the two together I would suggest copying the tables from the backend and then
replacing the linked tables in the frontend with these.

Thank you for responding. Reason for splitting database was to share the
database. However, the database bombed due to a "delete record" which
according to research you can't have two users sharing same record. I would
like to know how then can we share a database for entering, reviewing
records? There are 4 to 5 users who will need to use this db? Any help will
be greatly appreciated.
