Plug-in conflicts

I recently installed Norton Internet Security, primarily because of the
anti-spam feature. When I first open Outlook (after a fresh boot) there is a
Norton Anti-Spam toolbar. However, after I close Outlook and reopen it, the
AntiSpam toolbar is gone. Norton "customer service" tells me that this is
"plug-in conflict" and that I need to contact my "system vendor" in order to
get help on how to disable other plug-ins. I have searched, but cannot locate
a place where one has a list of Outlook plug-ins to disable (or enable). Can
anyone help me. I just want my simple little anti-spam program to work.

Depends on your version of Outlook, but see if you can click
Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options and open both Add-In Manager and COM
Add-Ins.
