Plugin not working on some other machine

hi!

i have a plugin for MS Word. It is working on my machine very well, but when
i try it on some other machine, it crashes the Word. The values under the
following Key in registry are as follow:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins\MyPlugin.Connect
FriendlyName = "MyPlugin"
Description = "This is a testing plugin"
LoadBehavior = 0x00000003

Word is now completely opened and it crashed. So after that when i try to
open word again. it displays a message box that the plugin "myplugin" has
caused problem. Do you want to disable this plugin or not?

Any body there to help me.................................?

Thanks

Rod

G'day "Rod" <[email protected]>,

Does the plug-in try and do anything with Word on load / init? Avoid
that.

I had the same problem.

I had Office2003 Pro with sp1 on my computer, and my add-in didn't work on
"simple" Office 2003.

So be sure that your add-in york on same office.

sp1 solved a lot of bug, with xml in word for ex.
