plus sign and characters in Instant Messages

When only in Instant Messenger a plus + sign is between words and %2C+
appears rendemly in the sentence. How+are+you+again%2C+today.
This started few days ago, prior to that normal.

I had a play with it but I can't reproduce your problem. Sorry, we're Word
