For some reason all the pictures to the far right of my page continue to
appear on every page of the site. And if I delete if from one page it is
deleting from all of them. Then when I preview the page those pictures are
missing completely. This even happens if I open a new web design. I've tried
copy&pasting the pictures, opening them from file and even sliding them from
another part of the page but no matter what once they get to a certain spot
on the page this happens. SOMEONE PLZ HELP !!!!

i don't see anything that says synchronize i've tried everything. Is there
anyway I can show you the problem or do you know any companies that help with
stuff like this?

From Help:

"Turn off formatting synchronization:
If Publisher applies a formatting change that you make to one element in an
object to all of the similar elements in an object, you can turn off the
synchronization and limit the change to the element that you initially
selected. On Edit menu, click Undo Synchronize. The automatic formatting
synchronization for an object will be turned off if you click Undo
Synchronize immediately after Publisher synchronizes a formatting change
that you have applied to an element in an object."

If the picture is on a Master Page, then that would account for the change
on all pages. Master pages should not be used in a Publisher web
publication.

Perhaps delete the original picture entirely and start fresh by Insert >
Picture > From File. Don't copy and paste.

Make sure the picture is embedded, not linked. Go to tools > graphic manager

Perhaps open a blank web page and your original publication at the same
time, copy and paste from your old doc to the new and save as a new
document?

If you have uploaded the website, then you could provide the URL and we
could take a look.

Thanks for responding but I've solved the problem. It seems that I was
placing the pictures outside the area of the webpage which made publisher see
them as a part of the backgroungd and and apply it to every page. I didnt
have any synchronizing on. Thanks anyway I'll remember your advice in the
future.

Thanks for posting back. I am glad you got it sorted out.

You remind me that one of the first troubleshooting steps one should take is
to run the Design Checker, which would have found the problem or design
elements overlapping into the scratch area.
