I would like to allow the PM Group the ability to see all projects regardless
of their relationship to said projects. Currently the PM group is not
allowing visibility to all projects.
My setup is Project Server 2007 SP1 on Moss 2007 SP1 on Server 2008 (sp1 of
course). I am not overriding permissions at the user level. I'm using the
Project Server 2007 View Effective Rights Tool to help me diagnose.
Added users to the PM Group with the default categories (My Org, My Personal
Prj, My Proj). The My Org Catagory is also stock. *Project Managers exist
in the users and groups. Radio button for All current and future projects is
enables. No check boxes enabled for the other "Projects" options. I have
not screwed around with the Resources or Views section.
The tool just indicates that the Effective Right = Deny. (confirmed
visually as well). When I add these users to the Executive group, all is
good. I've dropped out the "My Personal Projects" and "My Projects"
categories from the PM group and still get denied.
Any suggestions would be great.
