PM in Portfolio Analyzer

Hi

Can you filter by Project Manager in Portfolio Analyzer or do I need to make
a Custom Enterprise Outline Code?

Thanks

This is an excellent question and thank you for asking! :)

You will need to create a custom enterprise Project outline code and make it
a Required field. This will force everyone to select their name as the
manager of the project before they can save the project in the Project
Server database. The next time the OLAP cube rebuilds, you will then see
this new outline code as a dimension for use in Portfolio Analyzer views.

In addition, after you create the new outline code in the Enterprise Global
file, and then save and close the Enterprise Global file, your project
managers will need to do the following:

1. Exit and relaunch Microsoft Project Professional
2. Open an enterprise project
3. Click Project - Project Information
4. Select a value in the new custom enterprise Project outline code and
click OK
5. Click Collaborate - Publish - All Information
6. Save and close the project
7. Repeat steps #2-6 for every enterprise project he/she manages

Hope this helps.
