PM Needs to Adjust Resource Remaining Hours in PWA

Is there any way for a PM to adjust her resource's task remaining
hours in PWA? I know resources can do this in their PWA timesheet,
and I know the PM can adjust actual hoursin PWA, but can the PM adjust
remaining hours in PWA?

Generally speaking, no, the PM must use Project Professional to update the
Remaining Work.

I assume you mean Project 2003, but in 2007 you have another option. You
could consider using the 2007's new Assignment Owner field in the project.
With this field you specify who enters progress information for the task on
My Tasks. If the Assignment Owner is the PM, the task will show up on the
PM's My Tasks page, and not the resource's.

You can always create a new page in PWA that allows the PM to do what you
want. The new PSI in 2007 makes this possible in a way that 2003 did not.

Thanks for the help. Yes, I am using Project Server 2003. However, I
will put this issue on the list to convince my client to move to
2007. :)
