PNG gradients poor on Mac, great on PC

Any thoughts on why the gradients on a drop shadowed PNG file looks so
bad on the Mac Office X version, but not in previous PPT versions, but as it
should, and always has on the PC versions?

That's a nasty known issue in PPT X. I don;t know any workaround for that in
PPT X. Hopefully, PPT 2004 has a great support for transparency in png
images.

Thanks for the tip, I was hoping they would have posted a fix before 2004
was released. I will wait to hear that they will support PNGs better before
upgrading to ver.2004.

Sure. I can just tell you that I already used it in several presentations in
PPT 2004 and all went on smoothly :))
