I have a Moto Q PDA/phone which runs Microsoft software. It would sync easily with my PC. Since buying my new iMac using Office for Mac 2004 and PocketMac it would sync with some glitches, like changing the appt times. After installing Office 2008, it won't sync at all. When I run the PocketMac sync, Entourage crashes. Help. Pete
I'm not sure what to say as I don't know PocketMac well as I've never
used it. I run Markspaces Missing Sync for my Palm and their
Blackberry version for my BB Curve. Both sync like a charm. Errors
might occassionally occur but its easy to fix things and then away I
go for a good period of time. Just one word of caution though and that
is there is a sync services issue with Entourage that Markspace says
Microsoft is aware of and they are hoping they're working on it. Its
best just to have Entourage sync'g one module as by enabling the
others errors will start to occur. In my case, my main app is Calendar
and tasks and I don't make many changes in Contacts or Notes so I only
have Calendar running. Sync's work fine. It will be nice if Microsoft
fixes the problems that occur when more than one module is enabled for
a variety of reasons. I do, every so often, have to make changes in
Addressbook and I suspect for a number of users they will just follow
the instructions for Entourage sync'g and get weird results not
knowing why or how to avoid it.
Anyway, I've always been happy with the Markspace software.
