Hello,
I have been asked by friend, who has a small company of 15 field workers, to
set up an application. so that his use of data can be improved. The current
situation is that each field worker works remotely and has his/her own data
on a laptop. What my friend would like is for the workers to keep their
data centrally so that analysis can be done and any duplication of effort
can be eliminated.
I am guessing that this question has been asked many times before in this
forum, so many apols in advance.
I have thought of two solutions:
1. A web based app
2. Each field worker having A2K frontend feeding a server over the internet.
(my preference)
Here is my problem:
I am a reasonably proficient with Access 2k and have developed a number of
stand alone apps using DAO and ADO. I have never ventured into the realms
of A2K over the internet.
I am not so lazy as to ask the group for answers, but would appreciate it if
anybody could point me in the right direction for learning material on this
subject?
