Poor shortcuts & customization options

It'd be nice to have the same kind of keyboard customization options as in
Word and other office apps. At least OneNote should use some of the same
shortcuts. For example, F7 runs spelling, but Shift+F7does not bring up the
thesaurus lookup. There's other buttons/commands I'd love to put a shortcut
too- "Research", "Note Flags Summary", "Insert Extra Writing Space," and
"Insert Meeting Details."
Thanks for your consideration & keep up the great work!

I don't know if you have seen the summary of shortcut commands - try
Help/Keyboard shortcuts. or search help for "keyboard shortcuts". Be sure to
allow the help engine to search online for the latest version of this since
the on-line help has enhancements.

In general, to conserve the limited number of shortcuts to the most needed
commands, we didn't assign shortcut keys to commands that are on the top
level of menus since any of those you can access with the accelerators, such
as:
Alt-T, R: Research pane
Alt-V, A: Note Flags Summary
Alt-I, N: Insert Writing Space
Alt-I, M: Insert Outlook Meeting Details

Thesaurus is a feature we don't explicitly have, but the Research pane
offers a thesaurus. Maybe in the future we will hook it up directly since
that should be easy.

BTW, only Word allows you to customize shortcut keys, although I agree it
would be nice for the other apps and OneNote to have this too.

Cheers,
Chris (MS)
