Hi, All.
Looking to see if there's a workaround for a POP-Before-SMTP requirement in
Outlook 2000.
My client has an ISP that requires this, and Outlook only wants to send first,
then receive. But instead of an error if something is in the Outbox, it just
seems to hang.
Is there a tweak or reg config entry to force receive first ? I tried setting
SMTP to Authenticate separately, but no luck.
Alternatively, I could try a little freeware tool that logs into POP3 server
just to see if mail is present, then use Outlook Send/Receive. But I was
looking for other suggestions/fixes.
Thanks,
Todd.
