We have hundreds of documents descending from a single document that was
created on an old computer that no one uses anymore and is long gone. It was
a mac running an old version of Word for Mac. We've switched to PC's now.
Whenever one of these documents is opened, a message displays saying "Could
not open" followed by the computer name and the old path on that computer
where the original file could be found. The document opens just fine. It is
more an annoyance that it happens dozens of times a day and the OK button has
to be clicked each time.
Can anyone say why this error is happening and how to get rid of it?
