Pop-up Calendar on Combo box drop-down arrow Click

Greetings!

I currently have a form with several date fields. When these fields are
double-clicked, a calendar pops up! This works fine, however, I would prefer
to have the calendar pop-up on the click of the drop-down arrow of the combo
box. If there where an Event called "OnDropDownClick", but as we all may
know, there is no such event.

Is there some way of doing this? Remember, the calendar pops up fine when I
double click anywhere inside the combo box (except on the drop-down arrow
ofcourse). I just wish to have the calendar pop-up on the click of the
drop-down arrow itself.

If you popup the calendar on the dropdown of the combobox, you don't
need the functionality of the combo.... so change the combobox to a
textbox, put a little command button where the dropdown is and use
the button's on click event to open the calendar popup.

Bob:

Thanks for your reply!
You're answer serves more as a motivator than it does a lesson; for me at
least. Nevertheless, it is appreciated!

So, I'm guessing that there is no way to have an event happen on the click
of the drop-down arrow then?

If not, then, I'll just go with your advice, Bob!

Thanks,
Gabriel M.
