Hello,
I am preparing a letterhead for a sport association, which will be used by a
bunch of coaches....some who are IT eliterate, and others who are tech savy!
Thus I want to limit the changes they can make.
I have already done up the document as a protected document, and have
limited the areas that they can enter text; ie: team name, body of the
letter, adress and phone number.
What I am wondering is if it is possible to have a pop up menu that would
appear when you open the ducument that will ask you to enter the team name,
adress and phone number....and once completed will automatically enter them
in the header...or the footer of the letter (team name would go in the
header, and adrees and telephone in the footer). Thereby simply leaving the
body to their own discretion (of course with limited access to formating)
If the info was automatically placed in the header or footer, this will make
a 2 page letter as easy as a one page letter.
I suspect this may need a macro...but with the exception of very simple
macro's in Excel...I have no idea how to proceed.
Thanks for your help on this one
