pop up messagein excel

Hi All,

I want to know how to pop up a message in excel worksheet after a certain
date in a column is expired?
Also I would like to know if the message can be made to pop 15 days earlier.

That sounds like a job for a macro - which is beyond my capabilities.

A simple workaround soloution could be to use 'conditional formatting'.

Have the cell formatted so that is turn amber if the date is coming up and
red if the date is current or passed?
