Pop Up Page Help!

S

swilliams

I am a very basic FrontPage user. I am trying to have a page "pop up" when
our website page is accessed (for announcements and new projects, etc.). I am
able to go to Behaviors and get it to open, however, I don't want it to open
on "mouseclick, etc." which are the options that I'm given.
How do I set it to where the pop up message/page will appear and then to
exit just click X?
Thanks for any help.
I hope this makes sense!

That won't work in XP machines with SP2, nor will it work if anyone has
a popup blocker installed.

Better to use a visible link with onclick and let the visitor open it
themselves.

All users with popup blockers, such as Windows XP SP2, Norton, etc. will never see a automatic
popup.

Thank you. This has saved me much time and energy, plus I've learned
something new.
