Hello,
I am hopeful that someone may be able to offer some help.
I am using Outlook 2002 running on Windows 98. I have configured it to
connect with my personal ISP (POP3) via cable modem, and I also want to
access my work Exchange Server account via dial-up. I don't want to
download/syncronize/receive the Exchange mail. I just want to sychronize my
calendar, tasks, and contacts.
Whenever I connect to the Exchange Server, Outlook insists on downloading
the mail from the server into my inbox used for my POP3...and it doesn't
leave a copy on the server. If I cancel, it keeps initiating a send/receive.
I have the send receive settings set to not send/receive e-mail from
Exchange, but it does it anyway. I have "Disable Send/Receive" selected, but
it does it anyway. I have searched the web, but have not found any clues.
Can anyone offer some wisdom?
I appreciate your help!
Fletch
