Al Lawrence
I am having an ongiing issue with my Email host.
I can not get Outlook 2003 to recognize that it has already downloaded
Email and thus downloads the same Email over and over again.
I have the option checked to leave Email on the server until deleted
from the 'Deleted Folder"... that does NOT work... I have removed the
check so it does NOT leave the Emails on the server.... same results...
Email keeps getting downloaded over and over again. The only way to stop
it is for me to go to the server and delete the Emails!
Once I delete the Emails from the server there is no further problem for
the rest of the time that I have the computer running... Email is
deleted 'mormally'...
(1) This only happens when I make the FIRST POP3 of the day after
Booting Up....
(2) Email host has not been able to shed light on this
(3) Using 1and1 as the host
(4) Running XPpro SP2
(5) This happened once before and 'cleared up' magically after a few
days
(6) Does NOT happen with other POP3 accounts....
Based on the fact that it does not happen to ALL POP3 accounts I believe
it is NOT an Outlook 2003 issue....
Would like some other opinions and perhaps suggestions !
If I can supply any further information please let me know!
Thanks in advance!
