Frustrated POP3 Mail Guy

I recently purchased a new computer with XP operating system. I've loaded
Office 2003 and running Outlook. Email works fine but Outlook will not
remember my password. I've downloaded all the service pack updates. I have
also read and followed the instructions on Article ID 290684 regarding
clearing the HKEY Current User - protected storage system provider codes.
Outlook still will not retain my password. After a few minutes of being
loaded, it pops a box back up "Enter Network Password" and asks me for my
password ... again ... even with all the boxes check to save the password.
Help anyone ???

Dear Frustrated,

I'm having exactly the same problem. New computer, purchased with XP
already loaded, set up three e-mail accounts - all work fine except my own,
which prompts for network password every time. I have also performed the
regedit algorithm with no result - twice. Microsoft will not help me -
refers me to Dell who also will not help me. Please let me know if you find
any help. I will post on here if I find a fix.
