POP3 settings change to localhost

T

Thom

In Outlook 2003, my POP3 settings in Accounts are changing
from the mail server, to localhost. Plus the username
will change fromo JoeBlow to JoeBlow/pop3.xxxx.com (xxxx
being the mail server). This is happening regardless of
the provider. The only common thing I have found is that
PC-Cillin (both 2002 aqnd the latest) are running on each
machine.

Has anyone seen this?

Yes. Upgrade you antivirus software. Norton & other antivirus software
makers' newer versions don't need to change your server info to
protect you.
