name from a disrtibution list in the body of a message.

EXAMPLE:

Subject: Checking in

Message:

Hi (Tom, Jeff or Bill),
I was just checking in to see how things are going and to see if their is
anything I can do to help.

Talk to you soon,
Tom

Is there anyway to grab and populate the first name from a distribution list
in the body of the message?

Tom

You'd need to use mail merge, not a DL, for this. See tools, mail merge.
