Greetings,
Any help to accomplish the following would be greatly appreciated:
Using Infopath 2003, I have designed a form, which as a by-product of
that process creates an XML Schema.
Upon filling out that form in Infopath, an XML file is produced.
Additionally, I have created a Word 2003 document that will serve as a
template for repeated, customer specific, activity. I have associated
the XML Schema from Infopath with the Word document (Templates and
Add-ins; XML Schema), and then populated the document with field tags
from the XML schema (Apply XML element) that when populated would make
the Word document customer specific.
The missing piece, and what I'd like to accomplish, is for the content
of a given XML file (completed in Infopath based on customer specific
info), to be imported into the Word doc and have the field tags
populated accordingly. I'm not sure if this would be thru a Macro
stored within the document and assumes that I could point it to
different XML files generated by the same Infopath form.
Again, any help, advice, point me in the right direction, assistance
would be greatly appreciated.
