Populate form from subform

Hi

I have a subform that contains a baby's DOB. When the user fills out
that DOB or brings up an existing record, the users want the child's
name to appear on the form. (Currently, the subform is one child
record of the parent, and the baby's name is on a separate child
record.)

I was wondering how I could make this happen?

What happens if more than one baby in the database has the same DOB? Even if
you know the parent, they could have twins (or triplets or...)

In that scenario, I'd just use the name of the first twin (or triplet,
etc)
