Populate multiple fields with one pull-down menu

I'm trying to create a form where I can choose a name and hav
corresponding phone number and e-mail address fields be populated. I'
like to be able to edit the database by simply entering new information
I know I can do this with Access. Unfortunately, my version of Offic
(2003) doesn't include Access.

Is there a way to link an Excel spreadsheet and accomplish the sam
goal? I actually don't even mind if I need to populate a database withi
Word one entry at a time.

Tried of search for this topic and couldn't find it. I can't help bu
suspect that this has come up before. So I'll apologize in advance fo
my surely-less-than-thorough search. Thanks
