Populate public calendar with birthday from public contacts

I've created a custom contact form for our public
contacts folder. When I enter the birthday of the
contact, I am asked whether I would like to add this to
my personal calendar.

Does anyone know how to add the date to the public
calendar instead of an individual's calendar?
