Populating a standard message in the message field

To Whom It May Concern:

I am unable to populate teh message field with a standard notice. I've
tried everything from <control><enter> to <double-clicking> to
<single-clicking> ... to no avail.

How does one populate the message field?

Could you give us some context, please? You've posted in a forum about customizing Outlook forms. Does your question have something to do with custom forms?
