populating fields from an Access database

[Lost in Corona]

I am trying to fill in several fields in my infopath form from an access data
base based on a value selected from another field on the form. For example,
if I fill in a given employee ID on the form I want to have the fileds
asssociated with that employee ID in the database to populate the form as
appropriate. When I try this I keep getting nothing.
