Popup comments in slideshow

Hi,
in excel we can add comment to a cell and the comment will pop up whenever
we roll mouse over that cell.

i want to include same funcrtinality on a slide show and i want it on the
slideshow. i.e. whenever i roll over or click a text item on a presentation,
i get a comments balloon. the location of the balloon/text is not important,
it could appear as a status bar for example.

the purpose is that i can provide the reasoning of variances on screen as
text rather than reading them myself.

Thanks John,

is it possible to avoid underline of hyperlinked text? furthermore, can i
increase the font size of screentip text.

To prevent underlining cover the text with a 99% tranparent shape (as in the
tutorial) and link to that.

You can globally change the text size in Windows>Control Panel > Display >
Appearance > Advanced Item (Tooltips) NB this will change ALL tooltip text
