popup forms and previewing reports

I have some popup-forms with a button that opens a report in preview.
How do I hide or close the form to preview the report.
I have tried to set form.formname.popup= false on the button, but it doesn't
work.

The whole idea of a pop up form is to stay on top.

Is there any possibly that you can use model forms......

Model forms do force the user "back" the way they came, and also model forms
appears on top of each other..and the user MUST return back the way they
came. So, perhaps using a model form here would do the trick?

In the form Button_Click Event that calls the report put -
Me.Visible = False
BEFORE the OpenReport Line.
In the Report_Close Event put -
Form_CallingPopUpFormName.Visible = True
