PopUp or short cut Menu and Start a group?

I have a user develop popup toolbar (shortcut menu) and in which I keep
losing the Start Group property. In order to customize the popup I have to
change it to a Menu Bar or a Toolbar, make my changes and then change it back
to a popup. I am guessing I am losing the group start when it converts back
to a popup.

Is the start group property no available for shortcut menus? Is there a way
to do this programatically?

Cmon! Who knows the Office command bars inside and out?

I don't experience that problem at all. I am using a2003.

I can modify, and add "start a new group" to the short cut menus no problems
at all.

jump into menu customize mode (right click on the main menu bar...select
customize).

I now select the tool bars tab, and display the "short cut menus"

Now, it is a simply matter to select your menu from "custom". Navigate to
the particular option where you want it to start a new group. Now, right
click on that menu option, and select "being a new group".

The above does not happen to me, and I am able to toggle, or change the
"being a new group" option at will.

Still a no go! I am using a2003.

Wait! I got it! I was using a slightly different approach (isn't it always
like that) and it works. Thanks again for you help.
