Portfolio Analyzer in Windows 2000

I am getting the following error message for Portfolio
analyzer views in Windows 2000

"Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project Portfolio
Analyzer OLAP cube.

The cube may not exist, or you may not have permissions
to access the cube."

However, I am able to see the same views in XP
environment.

Any idea how to get around this problem?

We are seeing the same message on 2k and XP, but if you
add the id to the OLAP admin group on the analysis
server, then it works. This isnt acceptable answer for
us, but it is a temp solution until we figure something
else out. hope this helps.

The use of these views is dependent on current browser, MDAC, and Office
technologies. Which are you lacking on the 2000 machine? The OS is not the
cause.

By MDAC, do you mean the version should be same on server
and client?
I am not sure what you mean by Office technologies..
Thanks..

MDAC should ideally be the same, and ideally at v 2.8 although 2.71 plays in
most cases
Office = Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
