Portfolio Analyzer view settings

Haris

Hi,
I've created a portfolio analyzer view and then I used the "Commands &
Options" button to go to "Protection" and then unchecked the "Filters" option
and "View Commands and Options Dialog in run more" using the administrator
login.
Now the commands and options button appears disabled not only in the user's
view but also in the administrator's view. How can i enable it for the
administrator?
Hope things are clear.
Looking forward to your suggestions.

Regards,
Haris

Haris --

This is a known issue with Project Server 2003. According to the
documentation that ships with Project Server SP2, this issue is fixed in the
service pack. If you upgrade to SP2, make sure you upgrade both Microsoft
Project Professional and Project Server. Hope this helps.

Dale:
Thank you for your response. I've tried updating a test installation of MS
Project Server with SP2 but there were various issues encountered. Then I
found people posting similar problems encountered by update of SP2 here in
the discussions. For this, I dropped the SP 2 idea. Could you please guide me
in this regard?
The issues I faced:
- After SP 2 installation whenever I click projects link, it opens the page
and quickly redirects to the home page.
- If I go the the resources link, following error message appears:
'An error occured while trying to access the resources stored in the
database. Either there are too many resources , or the project server may not
have the correct DSN configuration. Contact your server administrator.'

Regards,
Haris
